Our School
School Description
Tulip Grove Elementary emphasizes a strong commitment to serve the students and families in our community. As an accredited school through Advance-Ed, we take pride in our outstanding staff whose wide variety of skills and experience are used to create unique and engaging learning opportunities for all of our students.
Learning is supported at Tulip Grove by state-of-the-art technology. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, iPads and computers, and teachers use these to create blended learning experiences for students. We also offer a Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program, as well as a robust Related Arts program. Our art, music, PE, and STEM teachers have been recognized by the district and state for their creative implementation of the curriculum.
A popular activity at Tulip Grove is Read Me Week. The students look forward to the daily reading-related activities, including welcoming community guests, participating in various reading challenges, dress-up days and the Book Fair.
In and out of the classroom, we encourage students to exhibit good character and citizenship. We offer a debate team and running club, among other extracurricular activities. All of these, combined with our core activities, allow students opportunities to grow and demonstrate character.
